Virtual Camp 2021
Due to the pandemic, we still can’t be together in person this summer. But as you know, at Camp Wamp “It’s About What you CAN do!”
Once again, we will offer a super fun Virtual Camp Wamp! This year’s program will be even better with 2 “Live Sessions” each week. We’ll be using an awesome platform called Thrively for delivering our content and maintaining our connection all summer long. All sessions will be recorded for maximum flexibility for participation.
- Welcome to Wamp – You will learn all about Camp Wamp and what to expect when we return in 2022
- Nature Wildlife / Ocean Life
- Kindness / Dreams & Goals
- STEAM Week
- Adventure / Travel You will have fun daily activities to work on independently between live sessions and chances to earn badges, raffle tickets, and amazing prizes. Our first live session is scheduled for Monday, July 5th, at 10am PST.
We know deep in our hearts that the Summer of 2022 will be the best summer ever. We can’t wait to rekindle old friendships and create more memories. In 2022 we will bring back all the loved traditions, welcome new growth, and celebrate being together in person, again! Make sure to follow us on all our social channels so you can stay in touch with us until we meet again.
As Camp Wamp provides a premier wilderness experience for persons living with physical disabilities, we would like to share with you the true cost to send a camper to Camp Wamp for a 6 day/5 night session.
The true cost to send a camper to Camp Wamp for one session is $3500.
(Family Camp costs increase $300 per additional family member) At Camp Wamp we believe that ability to pay should not create a barrier for any family as they share this unprecedented opportunity for growth with their camper.
No camper will be turned away due to inability to pay.
We hope that our Camp Wamp families will take this knowledge and use it as a tool.
Knowing the true cost of sending a camper to a session at Camp Wamp allows families a unique opportunity to look at their personal finances and the value that they see in the Camp Wamp experience and pay for their camper’s session according to these factors.
