My name is Joseph Wampler and Steve and Elizabeth are my parents. I was born with their ideology of what disability in the world should look like and cannot wait to spread that idea like wildfire. Being raised by a man with cerebral palsy has been a blessing with no disguise needed. The people who know me know that I wouldn’t have it any other way. After spending 18 summers in a row at Camp Wamp and seeing the magic of that place, I thought it was necessary to keep it going even if it doesn’t look like the traditional camp. With the help of my incredible friends, I can’t wait to see what comes of this summer. There’s no big disability.
